Install
This is a Stud with allen head socket for install. Stud only gets bottomed out into head. Use small amount of Anti seize on threads. No torque spec just snug into the head! Then gaskets and manifold installed onto the studs. Supplied Washers are then installed over top of the manifold. Add small amount of Anti Seize to the Back of the 12 Point Nuts and on the threads of the Studs. Then follow cummins manifold stud torque sequence Torque Manifold Stud Nuts with 12point 12mm socket to 38 Ft Lbs. Then drive the truck for a day or 20 miles and then go back over the manifold 12 Point Stud Nuts again after truck and manifold has cooled and Torque at 40 Ft Lbs. Following same cummins torque sequence. Then forget about them and Enjoy!
